Hello,

I am a frequent surfer on Womobox, as you are too.
It could be great to know more about your Sprinter/Ormocar vehicle. Your self build seems really nice !
Could you describe the building process from beginning untill today result ?

Hello Y.van,
yes, the picture was taken at the campsite in St. Maire de la Mer. We stayed there some days during Christmas 2014.
I know St. Marie since over 30 years...

@ euro6:
What are you interested in? There is no real documentation of my building process. We started with up a rough idea and the experience of 30 years from the 508D of my parents. And in the end we come out with the three elephants... ;-)

But here some corner facts:
Sprinter 316CDI (4x2) footed on 245/75R16 BF Goodrich AllTerrain
L=6,15m W=2,18m H=2,75m
Measured weight: 3610kg fully equipped (160l water, 100l diesel, 2 Person, 2 VTT bikes, fridge full, enough wine :] ) (weight for tax: 3500kg)
160l water are stored in 2 tanks (60l inside for winter, additional 100l below the cabin for summer usage), pump could be switched for sumer/winter usage
45l waste water
Origo 3000 stove (no gas!)
Kissman comressor fridge, 95l
Elgena 10l boiler, heated by the cars cooling system
PortaPotti toilet
Heating of cabine by Eberspächer water-air heat exchanger, during driving via motor, when parking with Eberspächer D5wC heater (also coupled through cooling system of the Sprinter)
180W solar panel
120 + 100Ah cabin and fridge battery (will be replaced by a single 160Ah LiFePo at the end of the year)
and some more gimmicks like 120W LED headlights, skid plate below the motor, doubled feather with Koni HeavyTrack damper on the real axle, etc… 8-)
So if you want more details please feel free to ask!!
